Falling In Love Again

I'm so tired
of falling in love
Finding it easier
to fall out
I can't deny it
I feel it inside
I'll keep its fire
you can't hide

I'm falling in love again
ain't nothing I can do
Falling in love again
this time it's with you
When I fall
it's always the same
and I'm so tired
of playing this game

ANGLE MOVES TO TNA! GOOD GAWD ALMIGHTY!

The man who inspired me to train and lose weight since 2000 has jumped ship from the WWE to TNA! Woohoo! Things are heating up at TNA! Oh it's true, it's damn true.

TNA WRESTLING MAKES TWO MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENTS
Signs Kurt Angle
iMPACT! Moves To 9 PM on Spike TV Starting Thursday, November 16

Nashville, TN, September 24, 2006 – Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling announced today that Olympic gold medalist and pro wrestling superstar Kurt Angle has signed exclusively with the company. It was also announced that TNA iMPACT! will move to 9:00 PM ET/PT Thursdays on Spike TV starting November 16.

“This has been a huge week in our company’s history,” said Dixie Carter, president of TNA Entertainment LLC. “The signing of Kurt Angle and the move of iMPACT! to 9 PM are both significant benchmarks in the growth of TNA. The history of pro wrestling is marked with events that change the landscape of the industry and I believe that this week will be viewed in that context.”

Angle, a 2-time NCAA Division I champion and a 3-time NCAA Division I All-American, capped off his illustrious amateur career by winning a gold medal in freestyle wrestling at the 1996 Olympics, competing with two cracked vertebrae, two herniated disks and four pulled muscles.

On November 14, 1999, Angle made his on-screen debut with the World Wrestling Federation. Since then, this 5-time WWE World Champion has held every major championship belt in WWF/E. He was inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2003.

“Kurt is considered the greatest wrestler in professional wrestling,” added Carter. “His in-ring ability is matched only by his leadership and attitude. We are thrilled Kurt is joining the TNA family and we look forward to a long, successful relationship.”

“Being with TNA feels like I found my home,” Kurt Angle commented. “TNA will be the most watched show on cable TV – it’s just a matter of time. Thank you TNA for saving my career, my life and my desire to do what I love.”

TNA also announced it will premiere in primetime on Spike TV starting Thursday, November 16, kicking-off with a two-hour extravaganza from 9:00 – 11:00 PM, ET/PT to celebrate the move. The following Thursday, TNA can be seen in its regularly scheduled timeslot (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), with encores continuing to telecast on Saturdays (11:00 PM – Midnight, ET/PT).

“We’ve been impressed by TNA’s growth and the acquisition of Kurt Angle today continues to show us that wrestling fans, as well as professional wrestlers, know that TNA is the place to be and now primetime on Spike TV is the place for them to be,” says Kevin Kay, General Manager of Spike TV.

Week 1 in Recap

After a tiring first week at my new job, with the triple threat night events of Lancel, Corum, and Marks & Spencer (and returning home at 12am consecutively), I'm finally home writing this as I'm watching 'The Ultimate Fighter 4' (Episode 3).

It has been a real roller coaster of emotions this past week. Being in a new place, I guess I needed to adjust myself and adapt to the new wnvironment and colleagues. It's totally different from CO in many ways. Back to the roller coaster, it was like 1 minute I'd feel great at my new position, and the other minute experiencing depression, and a feeling of dis-attachment. It was times like those when I remember having people like the CO clique around me. Sigh.

Have been learning abit, although sometimes I wish I could have lunches like how I used to. Haven't really 'cliqued' much yet this week as there were many events going on which meant half of the team to be away most of the time. An intern (Sam), a rather entertaining fellow has been my lunch buddy for the past few days. I was shocked to find out that he is actually 'my first ever crush's(from Primary School)' younger brother! =)

The latter part of the week has been alot better than the former. And today, I've finally got my FIRST 'project'! Nadia and I are teaming up to handle the Celebrity Fitness account. My project will be on the 'Miss Malaysia/Earth 2006 touring Celebrity Fitness' which will happen next Tuesday. It better go well ;).

Life After CO

Closing time
Open all the doors and let you out into the world

Closing time
Turn all of the lights on over every boy and every girl
Closing time
One last call for alcohol so finish your whiskey or beer
Closing time
You don't have to go home but you can't stay here

I know who I want to take me home
I know who I want to take me home
I know who I want to take me home

Closing time
Time for you to go out to the places you will be from
Closing time
This room won't be open till your brothers or your sisters come
So gather up your jackets, move it to the exits
I hope you have found a friend
Closing time
Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end

It's been 3 days since I've left the place I called 'work' for the past 25 months. Have been catching up on some movies and TV shows (as usual). Am missing my colleagues, I mean, my 'former' colleagues already. The lunches, the laughs, the gossip, the bitching...everything.

Thank yous to Veronica, Maria, Ian, Yew Jin, Adele, Geraldine, Sue Ching, Soon Min, Yu Hock, and other fallen comrads for making this journey a real one.

This Monday marks a new dawn. This Monday is 'where it all begins, again'.

Wish me luck!

Its funny when..

My boss recently 'barred' me from going outside the office for any activities (screenings, interviews, events) since it's my last week at the establishment. But its funny when it's OK for me to do manual labor and go collect a ton of unsold magazines from the MPH warehouse.

You guys never fail to impress me. Thank the stars I'm finally leaving.

Everyone who leaves CO moves on to some place better anyway.

Fare Thee Well.

Working Saturday 2/9/06

Today is a working Saturday. Today, there were only 3 staff present (excluding bosses). Today, the only work related things I did were: reply 1 email and carried up a couple of boxes upstairs. Today I wasted 4 hours of the precious weekend.

Today sucks.
